Oy.This is gonna be one of those days, isn’t it?” - @phogan latimes: A surprise from the Vatican: Pope Benedict XVI said Monday that he would step down at the end of the month, ending a papacy that has lasted less than eight years, declaring that his health is too great of a concern to continue his duties. Benedict will become the first pope since Gregory XII in 1415 to step down. Stuff like this just doesn’t happen all the time. The world is becoming an avatar of dramatic episode. I thought the Pope is supposed to serve God till he dies. Anyway, we humans always find ways to change history and this Pope will be remembered in the history book. Take it easy father.
